- How do I apply? Register your interest in our google forms
- What do we offer? Our range of trips includes a blend of thrilling bucket list adventures, tranquil relaxation getaways, and scenic beach destinations.
- What are the trip styles? Our trips are a mix of Sisterhood + Empowerment retreats, combined with nature, adventure, educational experiences and most importantly Halal-friendly Cultural Exploration.
- Are all trips Muslim friendly? Yes, creating unparalleled experiences for our Muslim female community is at the heart of everything we do.
- Are your trips ONLY for Muslim women? No - we welcome all of our cisgender female community to enjoy our adventures, but we strongly expect our guidelines and principles to be followed and respected.
- Do you only accept travellers from a specific country? Our packages are open to all Muslim women from all backgrounds and races. We have had majority East Africans in the past, but we embrace female travellers from around the world. We strive to create a diverse and welcome environment for all.
- Can I bring a friend? The group is open to all travellers, solo or not. It is a perfect opportunity to meet and network with other travellers and form friendships.
- How do I join a Faycations trip? After registering your interest, someone from our team will connect with you 90 days before travel to guide you on your travel induction.
- Is there an age limit for every trip? Yes. A minimum age requirement of 21 is in place. There is no maximum limit age for these trips.
- Can my child join? This is heavily dependant on the type of trip we do. Children 18+ are allowed if accompanied by an adult who is responsible for them. Children younger than 18 will not be allowed, unless the trip states otherwise (eg. Mother/Child friendly trips).
- Who books our flights? While you are responsible for booking your own flights and managing your flight schedule, we provide guidance on airlines itineraries and assist you throughout the procedure.
- Is the accommodation the same? The accommodation costs are included in the package, and will be booked as soon as flights are confirmed.
- What type of accommodations do we stay in? We will always stay at unique and enjoyable medium-high standard hotels and Airbnb's. We never stay at hostels or hotels of poor quality. We strive to create an experience that’s not only authentic, but also easily accessible and comfortable.
- What meals are included in your package? Some meals are included. When a stay is in a hotel, it will always include Breakfast but sometimes may also include Dinner. Some activities may also include food, but will be confirmed on the itinerary. We may also select restaurants for dinner or lunch so that we can eat all together but this will be at your own expense. Dietary & allergy information will also be collected leading up to the trip.
- What transport is covered in the package? The package includes airport transfers to and from the accommodation. However, any additional transportation required during the trip will be at your own expense.
- What is the procedure for booking a trip?
- How long do trips typically last for? 5-7 nights in most cases, unless otherwise stated in the Info Pack
- Can I pick my room? Your preferences will be taken into consideration via your initial first call with our team. We may not be able to guarantee availability, but we will always do our best to accommodate accordingly.
- What if I've already visited one part of a dual-location trip? If you've already visited one part of a dual trip but want to join for another part only, pay your full deposit to secure your spot and let us know via email at info@faycations.co.uk as soon as possible with Name, Order Number and Requirements.
- Where do I find my essential travel information? All travellers receive detailed and personalised Info Packs with relevant information to their package. This includes flight check in and departure times, all the way to local custom and group travel information.
- How do you keep me connected once I've booked? Weekly calls online start from 60 days before your trip begins. The weekly group calls are a great way to meet your travel squad + trip host, and also get any concerns and help as needed.
- Do you keep travellers updated on travel safety? The safety of our travellers, trip hosts and operators is a major priority at Faycations. With this in mind, we monitor world events very closely and Faycations makes operational decisions based on informed advice.
If this advisory is at a Level 4 'Do Not Travel' then Faycations will either cancel or reroute the itinerary to avoid areas concerned.
- Where can I find travel insurance? We can advise with a list of pre-approved vetted travel insurance companies that provide excellent service, however we do not cover this as part of the package.
- What do I need to bring when leaving the country? If you’re leaving the country, you’ll need a valid passport that doesn’t expire for at least 6 months from your return date.
- How do I find the Visa requirements for the location I'm interested in? Please contact your local travel consulate or embassy for further information on visa requirements as we do not provide this service.
- What do I need to pack with me? Your Info Pack will come with a complete packing list for your trip. Check out Step 7 on our International Travel Checklist for more information
- Can I request for early check-in if my flight is early? Yes, make sure the team are aware of your flight schedule in advance.
- What's the name of the Hotel were our trip will start? This information is sensitive for the safety of the travellers on each of our trips. Accommodation is provided in our Info Packs to all travellers, 60 days before the trip.
- Will I have some free time to myself? Yes, we schedule as much downtime as possible into the itinerary for rest and rejuvenation. However, we do encourage travellers to explore at their pace and utilise the downtime for their own excursions.
- Is there anything not allowed? Yes. We forbid purchase of alcohol during the trip or on any excursions we do together, and aim to maintain a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone attending. This policy is in place to prioritise the safety, comfort and wellbeing of all participants. It is also in line with respecting the cultural sensitivity and local regulations of each country.
- What if I land late and will miss some part of the itinerary? The full itinerary will start on the date/time as specified, but please let our operations team (operations@faycations.co.uk) know and they will notify your trip host, who will guide you through re-joining the trip.
- What if I am late to a planned excursion? Most transport will be pre-booked with a third party and so arriving on time will be key. Please note that if you miss the designated time, you will be liable to arrange your own transport, at your expense.
- Will there be halal food options throughout the trip? Yes. Rest assured, Faycations ensures that halal food options are available throughout the trip, catering to the dietary preferences and requirements of Muslim female travellers.
- I don't feel like doing an activity I've booked. Can I choose not to participate? Yes, if excursions are already booked and you no longer wish to participate, travellers are encouraged to inform the trip hosts in a timely fashion. Anyone not participating can use this time for their own purposes. However, missed excursion will be non-refundable.
- Are there any specific dress code requirements or recommendations for female travellers? We sometimes pre-plan group outfits during the weekly group calls, and this information will be in the personalised Info Packs provided. Depending on the country we visit, some extra regulations on dress code will be available on the Info Packs provided also. Travellers may wish to dress how they dress, but we always encourage respecting the local customs and traditions.
- Is there a support system or point of contact for travellers in case of any concerns or issues? Your trip host will be the primary contact throughout your trip. Any issues or concerns can be raised immediately with them. The Faycations team will always be on standby and can be reached on contact@faycations.co.uk and someone will be able to support you immediately. Any issues with your YouLi app or the itinerary, please let your Trip Host know, who is trained to assist you there too.
- What if I don't want my photos taken? We respect all boundaries and ensure we are aware of anyone uncomfortable with any photography. Please make it clear to your trip host and to our Hope Dealer team during your 1:1 conversations. Your satisfaction is our priority and we are here to assist wherever we can.
- What happens after I have been on a trip? Our post-trip team will reach out for your feedback and overall comment in order to improve our services and maintain excellent experience. We encourage staying connected with us, by following our socials as well as keeping a close eye for exclusive deals in your emails.
- Can I share my travel photos or videos taken during the trip with Faycations? Yes. Please tag our social media @faycations on whatever you post, and we will also provide a sharing platform that all travellers can share their photos privately.
- Does Faycations have a referral program where I can refer other Muslim female travellers and earn benefits for future trips? Keep an eye out as our Loyalty program is in the works, offering exciting opportunities to earn benefits like discounts, freebies, branded goody bags, and exclusive access.
- How can I preserve and cherish the memories of my trip with Faycations? Stay tuned for the the upcoming launch of our trip Memory Banks next year, providing an exclusive way to preserve and relive your travel experiences.
- Is it refundable? The Registration fee is the only refundable part of your itinerary. Once the itinerary is paid in full, we begin booking segments and therefore becomes totally non-refundable. This includes instalment too.
- When is a deposit refundable? All travellers have 30 days to request for a full refund of their registration fee. After this, registration can be moved to selected future trips and becomes transferable.
- What if I need to cancel for personal reasons? We urge you to contact us immediately should your situation change. If within the 30-day period, a full refund is initiated. Contact us via operations@fayactions.co.uk with Full Name, Order Number + Given reason. If your reason is deemed legible and you can no longer attend, your fee will be moved, otherwise it will be lost.
- Are there any exceptions to the Refunds Policy [Special circumstances]? No. In moments such as natural disasters, political unrest, or other unforeseen events, we cannot offer refunds due to circumstances beyond our control.
- How much is the deposit? Deposit ranges per trip, and start from £180+ depending on the location and itinerary included.
- What does the deposit cover? It covers admin fees and travel setup costs, Airbnb charges + many more extra bits. It is also the only way to secure your spot on your chosen trip.
- When is final payment? Always 60 days before the trip starts. If you join within this period, the full and final payment is due.
- Are payment plans available? Not for a deposit. We are currently looking into payment plans for each package and itinerary we provide. Stay tuned for2024! For extra support, email contact@faycations.co.uk
- Can I pay in a different currencies? Yes. Our website is equipped to handle all currency payments, however the site is visible in EUROS only.
- What forms of payments do you accept? We accept all major Credit, Debit, Visa and Mastercard. We also accept offline payments, Apple Pay as well as PayPal.
- Are there any additional fees included? PayPal charge 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction and debit/credit cards are charged 2.5% per online transaction.
- Is it safe to use my bank information on your website? We understand your concern and are confident to say that all banking information is made on a certified and nationally recognized merchant service. No data is stored.
